NJ—Mercer
County Prosecutor Daniel G. Giaquinto today announced that a Mercer County Grand
Jury has returned an indictment against Robert Breece, age 31, whose last known
residence was the 1600 block of Nottingham Way in Hamilton, for a violation of a
special sentence of community supervision for life.
According to Prosecutor Giaquinto, Breece was convicted of aggravated
sexual assault on a minor and sentenced to four years in the New Jersey prison
system in July of 1997. Upon his
release from prison in 1999, Breece began parole supervision under a special
sentence of community supervision for life under Megan’s Law.
In September of 2002, Breece left the Mercer County area without
notifying authorities and was purportedly residing in Virginia. Authorities received information that Breece was temporarily
in the Trenton area in and January of 2003.
If convicted, Breece faces 18 months in prison.
The case was presented to the Grand Jury by Assistant Prosecutor Cynthia
Liccardo, Chief of the Megan’s Law Unit.
Prosecutor Giaquinto indicated that if the public has information concerning the whereabouts of Robert Breece they should contact the Megan’s Law Unit at 278-2754.
