MERCER COUNTY PROSECUTOR ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION
EFFECTIVE FRIDAY, MAY 16

Accepts Position as Director of the Office of State Police Affairs

 

 

 

Trenton, NJ — Mercer County Prosecutor Daniel G. Giaquinto today announced he will be stepping down as prosecutor this Friday, May 16, and has accepted the position of Assistant Attorney General/Director of the Office of State Police Affairs (OSPA).  He will begin his new post on Monday, May 19.

 

Prosecutor Giaquinto stated:

·        I am very proud of my office and how it excelled at our core mission of doing justice by investigating and prosecuting cases while undergoing significant expansion and heading in new directions with many initiatives.

·        I look forward to the honor of working with the Attorney General and the New Jersey State Police in this very noble cause, that of the full implementation of the reforms under the Consent Decree.

·        It was a great time and a very good run.  It will always be my highest professional honor to have served the residents of Mercer County as their prosecutor.
