TRENTON WOMAN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES

Trenton, NJ — A Trenton woman was arrested Wednesday on drug offenses by the Mercer County Narcotics Task Force, Mercer County Prosecutor Daniel G. Giaquinto announced.

Charlotte Bradley, 44, of the 700 block of Monmouth Street, Trenton, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with the intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The task force, led by Lt. Al Paglione and the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Special Investigations Unit, received information that Bradley would be arriving at the Trenton Train Station.  At approximately 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, officers observed Bradley exit a train from New York.  When they approached her, she was holding a crack pipe in her hand.  Bradley was taken into custody and officers seized 110 grams of powder cocaine from her person (approximate street value of $3,500).

The West Windsor police, the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department and the New Jersey State Police assisted in the arrest.

Bradley is being held in the Mercer County Corrections Center in lieu of $60,000 cash bail.

Despite having been arrested, every defendant is presumed innocent until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
