MERCER
COUNTY TERRORISM TASK FORCE (MCTTF)
The task force is comprised of a county coordinator and one officer from
each police department in Mercer County that has been trained by the
FBI and the State Police of New Jersey in terrorism awareness, detection
and investigation. The
MCTTF is in daily communication with the New Jersey Office of
Counter-Terrorism and has immediate access to the Joint Terrorism Task
Force headed by the FBI and includes the New Jersey State Police.
Information and intelligence is gathered and disseminated on a regular
basis. This
allows the MCTTF access to assistance from the New Jersey State
Police and the FBI in investigations of suspicious terrorist activities
and crimes that possibly relate to terrorist organizations. The Joint
Terrorism Task Force of the FBI and State Police also have a local
resource in the MCTTF that they may call upon to follow up on leads and
assist in investigations. A

who wishes to forward terrorist information or suspicious activities can
